2012 Fisker Karma

The Fisker Karma can run purely on electric power supplied by a rechargeable lithium-ion battery for up to 50 miles (80 km); after that, a 175 kW generator driven by an efficient, 2.0 liter, direct-injection, turbocharged gasoline engine extends the range an additional 250 miles (403 km). The Fisker Karma's total range between recharge/refuel can reach 300 miles.

2011 Fisker Surf Concept

Fisker Automotive recently announced the signing of an agreement with BMW that will cover the supply of engines and other components for future Fisker models. BMW will supply a four-cylinder turbocharged engine for the next generation of Fisker cars, code-named ‘Project Nina', which are scheduled to go into production in the re-commissioned former GM plant in Wilmington, Delaware at the end of 2012 and be on sale globally in 2013. The first ‘Project Nina' derivative will be a mid-size premium sedan utilizing Fisker's EVerTM technology to deliver on Fisker's corporate vision of Uncompromised Responsible Luxury.

2006 Fisker Tramonto

At the same time, the Tramonto has become something much more, and the differences go beyond what meets the eye. How far beyond is up to you: engine, brake and exhaust-system upgrades are available – as are 0-60 times of 3.6 seconds and a top speed of 202 mph. At the touch of a button on the console or the remote locking device, the power-retractable hardtop transforms the two-seat Tramonto from a coupe to roadster in just 16 seconds. And even with the hardtop retracted, the trunk is still spacious enough for two golf bags.



2006 Fisker Latigo CS

The FISKER LATIGO CS is currently nearing production status, so final technical details are still in flux. Engine specifications call for a standard 32-valve, 4.8-liter V-8 pumping out over 360 horsepower, and an optional 5.0-liter V-10 that generates over 500 horsepower if you choose a BMW M6 as your base architecture.
