2012 Spyker C8 Aileron GT

Spyker Squadron Managing Director, Peter Van Erp, said: “We are taking a racing sabbatical this year to concentrate our resources on developing a new GT racer based on Spyker’s new C8 Aileron supercar, instead of continuing to spend money on a car at the end of its development cycle. For the long term future of Spyker Squadron, and for its role in the promotion and technical development of Spyker road cars, it’s a positive and strategically important step.

2011 Spyker C8 Laviolette GT2-R

The Spyker C8 Spyder GT2R runs the Audi V8 engine used in all road cars. The race version of this engine has been developed in-house by Spyker Squadron’s technical team, headed by Peter van Erp and is mated to a Hewland six speed sequential gearbox.
The company has already won two major victories with its new race model, the Spyder GT2R. This race car obtained two podium places in 2005 by finishing second in its class in September 2005 during the LMES 1000km of Nürburgring (LMGT class), Germany and in November 2005 during the FIA GT (GT class) race in Dubai.

2011 Spyker C8 Laviolette LM85

The LM85 is an advanced mid-engine, two-seat sports car. It is characterized by a lightweight all aluminium body construction and an uncompromising engineering package. The powertrain of the LM85 is the all aluminium Audi 4.2 Litre V8 engine producing 400 bhp.
This is paired to a manual six-speed Getrag gearbox, driving the rear wheels with a Drexler limited slip differential. The use of aluminium parts and other lightweight materials results in an impressive power-to-weight ratio and underlines the GT2 racing heritage of the LM85.

2011 Spyker C8 Laviolette LWB

The racing and aviation heritage of the early cars has been carried over to the contemporary Spykers, their design being heavily influenced by airplanes and aerodynamics. Their uncompromising engineering developed for racing. Hand-crafted in the same tradition as the earlier Spykers by the best craftsmen of our time using bespoke materials only. Built with passion for the most passionate drivers, for those discerning connoisseurs who do not just buy a car but have one built for them, to their exacting specifications. Benefiting from experience gained in the international race arena by entering basically standard Spykers in GT class events such as the 24 Hours of Le Mans, the ultimate endurance race challenge.

2011 Spyker C8 Aileron

The Spyker C8 Aileron’s performance is visceral, vibrant and alive. Power comes from a naturally aspirated Audi 4.2-litre V8 petrol engine. This power unit features a 90-degree angle block, 40 valves (five valves-per-cylinder, three intake and two exhaust), and variable valve timing.

Highly responsive, the V8 generates 400 ps at 6,800 rpm and an immense wave of torque (480 Nm at just 3,500 rpm), to ensure thrilling drivability.

2011 Spyker C12 Zagato

Victor Muller, CEO of Spyker Cars, and Andrea Zagato, CEO of Zagato, today unveiled the Spyker C12 Zagato at the 77th Geneva International Motor Show. Norihiko Harada, Zagatos Automotive Chief Designer, and Muller co-operated closely to design this limited edition of 24 sports cars to be delivered from March 2008 onwards. The world premiere of this ultra-exclusive version of the C12 range celebrates Spykers entry into the world of Formula One and marks the first integration of design elements and styling cues from the Spyker F8-VII Formula One car into the Spyker road car range. This point was underlined by the unveiling of the car being performed by Spykers Formula One race driver, Adrian Sutil.

Moreover, the C8 Aileron’s dimensions have been optimised for more interior space and to accommodate the optional automatic gearbox. Compared to the short wheelbase of the first- generation cars - the Spyker C8 Laviolette and C8 Spyder - the wheelbase of the C8 Aileron is 150 mm longer, also providing for more driving comfort and stability at high speeds. Its front track has increased by 155 mm. The total dimensions of the front and rear track are now 1625 mm and 1645 mm respectively, which improves road handling significantly.
