2013 Volkswagen Up!

Debuting in the up! is a new generation of three-cylinder petrol engines. They output 44 kW / 60 PS and 55 kW / 75 PS. Combined fuel consumption as a BlueMotion Technology version (including a Stop/Start system): 4.2 l/100 km (60 PS) and 4.3 l/100 km (75 PS). Both of these 1.0-litre engines emit less than the 100 g/km CO2 limit. A natural gas engine with 50 kW / 68 PS with the same basic configuration will follow. Its combined fuel consumption of 3.2 kg/100 km (natural gas) is equivalent to a CO2 value of 86 g/km; as a BlueMotion Technology version the natural-gas powered up! even attains a low CO2 value of 79 g/km. There are also definite plans for an up! with an electric drive for the year 2013.

2013 Volkswagen CC

All 2.0-liter models are front-wheel drive. The 2.0-liter engine is mated to either a six-speed manual or a six-speed DSG® dual-clutch automatic transmission. The VR6 engine utilizes a sex-speed automatic transmission with Tiptronic® shifting, driving either through the front wheels on the new VR6 Lux model or via 4Motion® all-wheel drive on the topline VR6 Executive model, which is also equipped with paddle shifters.

2013 Volkswagen Jetta Hybrid

Powering the all-new Jetta Hybrid is a high-tech turbocharged gasoline engine mated to a zero-emissions electric motor. While this hybrid union enables impressive driving performance with a class-leading 0-60 mph time of less than 9.0 seconds, the new Jetta Hybrid also delivers an estimated combined fuel economy figure of 45 mpg. This means that the sporty hybrid consumes about 20 percent less fuel than a similarly-powered sedan with a conventional drivetrain. In city traffic, the fuel economy advantage climbs to a little over 30 percent. In addition, the Jetta Hybrid can be driven in pure electric mode at speeds of up to 44 mph and for up to 1.2 miles depending on operating conditions.

2012 Volkswagen Passat

The new Passat, the largest ever, is the only midsize sedan that offers superior German engineering at an accessible price. The Passat TDI — the only clean diesel option in the segment — is expected to deliver 43 miles per gallon on the highway, with a range of approximately 800 miles.
The all-new Passat offers three drivetrain options: a responsive 2.5L gasoline engine, a remarkably eco-friendly 2.0L TDI Clean Diesel and a powerful 3.6L VR6.

2012 Volkswagen Jetta GLI

The Jetta GLI offers exceptional features and options, for equally impressive pricing. Available in three trim levels, the Jetta GLI has a starting MSRP of $23,495. The GLI Autobahn, with an MSRP of $25,545, adds 18” alloy wheels, sunroof, dual zone climate control, heated V-Tex Leatherette seats and the Fender® Premium Audio System. The top of the line Jetta GLI Autobahn with Navigation adds the RNS-315 navigation system and keyless access with push-button start technology for an MSRP of $26,445.

2012 Volkswagen Golf Cabriolet BlueMotion Technology

The new Volkswagen’s styling follows that of its hard-top three-door counterpart, but it shows a high level of independence with a new rear section, lower profile roof line and more swept-back angle of its front windscreen frame. The convertible’s image is especially dynamic when ordered with optional bi-xenon headlights. Always a standard feature: the LED rear lights like those of the GTI. Other standard safety features offering peace of mind are the automatically deploying roll-over bar, front airbags, side head/thorax airbags, knee airbag for the driver and ESP.

2012 Volkswagen E-Bugster Concept

At the electric heart of the E-Bugster is an electric motor that makes 114 horsepower (85 kW) and 199 pound-feet of torque. A lithium-ion battery enables the car to go more than 100 miles in zero emissions driving. Stored under the trunk floor and the rear bench, the battery weighs 695 pounds. The battery is recharged via a plug interface located underneath the hood’s VW logo and can accommodate all three types of available chargers: Level 1 (120V), Level 2 (240V), and, where available, Level 3 (quick charge, 80 percent charge in 30 minutes). Holistically, Volkswagen calls the electric drive unit used in the E-Bugster “Blue-e-motion,” and it will be found in future products such as the Golf Blue-e-Motion.

2011 Volkswagen CC Lux

From the front, the CC immediately commands attention with its sleek, low stance. The wide chrome grille, slit-like headlight housings (Bi-XenonTM High Intensity Gas-discharged headlamps are standard on the VR6 4MOTION® trim level), and reflector lens foglights add an aggressive element to the sedan’s overall appearance. In addition, the angle of the long hood is replicated through the CC’s profile by way of an accent line starting on the front fender and moving just above the door handles as it finishes in the tail light lens. A low-slung roofline includes a panoramic, power sunroof with tinted glass (available on Lux and VR6 4MOTION trim levels) before sloping down into the short rear decklid. Jeweled tail light lenses continue the curvaceous detailing of the CC, and stand above a thin, chrome bumper accent that runs back along the lower half of the doors. Simple, chrome badges just below the tail lights mark the CC name and appropriate engine designation.

2011 Volkswagen Touareg V6 TDI Clean Diesel Sport

The class changing 2011 Touareg offers three powertrain choices, including Volkswagen’s first-ever worldwide use of a hybrid engine. All three engines -- the 3.0L V6 TSI® supercharged hybrid, 3.0L V6 TDI® clean diesel and 3.6L V6 FSI® gasoline -- are mated to Volkswagen’s first eight-speed transmission, along with Volkswagen’s 4MOTION® all wheel drive system.

2011 Volkswagen Touareg Hybrid

As Volkswagen’s first production hybrid electric vehicle, the all-new Touareg 3.0-liter supercharged, direct injection V6 gasoline engine is paired with a special electric motor that significantly reduces fuel consumption and emissions compared to the previous V8 FSI model.
The electric motor is paired with a nickel metal-hydride battery pack fitted beneath the luggage compartment. The 288 volt battery consists of 240 individual cells and offers an energy density of 1.7 kWh. Both systems are capable of running independently or together and when combined, produce a total of 380 horsepower and 428 lbs.-ft. of torque.
