2013 Opel Mokka

At the start of the New Year and two months ahead of its world premiere at the Geneva motor show on March 6, 2012, Opel releases the first photos of its new dynamic, sub-compact sports utility vehicle, the Opel Mokka. With the new Mokka, Opel is the first German manufacturer to launch a contender in the growing sub-compact SUV segment.

2012 Opel Astra OPC

The new Opel Astra GTC is being given a sharper edge: the crowning glory of the new sporty compact coupé will come in summer 2012 in the shape of the high performance OPC (Opel Performance Center) variant. The Astra OPC is powered by a 2.0 liter direct injection turbo gasoline engine. The performance figures: 206 kW/280 hp of power and maximum torque of 400 Nm. This power house ensures that the Astra OPC can reach a top speed of 250 km/h. Never before has an Astra been so fast.

2011 Opel Ampera

The 2011 Opel Ampera electric vehicle with extended-range capability will be the first electrically driven car in Europe suitable for everyday driving. With its unique electric propulsion system providing lively acceleration and high levels of refinement, the five-door Ampera seats four passengers, offers ample trunk space and features an extended range of more than 500 kilometers.

2011 Opel Corsa

For January 2011, Opel’s successful Corsa gets a new wardrobe. The successful Color Line featuring special, sporty looking versions are enriched with a new optional two-stripe design with matching colored 17-inch wheels and exterior mirror caps. The successful Color Line Edition sports a black painted roof and high-gloss black 17-inch wheels and bright exterior colors. The 141 kW/192 hp OPC version continues to top the Corsa family and was also redesigned to match the rest of the new Corsa line-up. The Corsa comes in two distinct body styles: the coupé-like three-door and the family friendly five-door.

2011 Opel Insignia

The Opel Insignia and its three models – hatchback, sedan and Sports Tourer – have racked up more than 40 awards since its release in 2008. The ecoFLEX Insignia models have undergone a series of technical improvements that result in a five percent reduction in combined cycle fuel consumption and CO2 emissions. The German brand has also coupled its optional Adaptive 4x4 with a 2-liter 160 hp CDTI, making it the first Opel passenger car to link a powerful yet efficient diesel with the innovative segment-leading technology of an adaptive all-wheel drive system.

2011 Opel Insignia Sports Tourer

The 2011 Opel Insignia Sports Tourer offers leading eco-friendly technologies in a station wagon. The German brand has coupled its optional Adaptive 4x4 with a 2-liter 160 hp CDTI, making it the first Opel passenger car to link a powerful yet efficient diesel with an adaptive all-wheel drive system. Moreover, engineers have made refinements on all diesel engines to improve the noise and vibrations, thereby keeping the interior quiet and enhancing the interior acoustics. The Insignia Sports Tourer’s load area length up to the front seats is 1.91 meters and when fully loaded, the sporty station wagon has a maximum capacity of 1,530 liters.

2011 Opel Insignia OPC Unlimited

The mid-size class performance segment the 239 kW/325 hp Insignia OPC is now also available in an “Unlimited” version. In contrast to the base model, it has no electronic limitation of the maximum speed to 250 km/h. Depending on the body style and transmission variant, maximum speed goes up to 270 km/h. In order to ensure that the potential of the brand’s fastest production model is used efficiently and confidently, the purchase price includes an exclusive Opel performance driver training course.

2011 Opel RAK e Concept

Energy costs, efficiency and lightweight design are in the spotlight at the 64th Frankfurt International Motor Show. Opel is staking a strong claim for the center of attention with an all-new battery-powered electric vehicle. The Opel RAK e Concept opens a new chapter in electric mobility and extends Opel's pioneering role in alternative propulsion systems. The radical RAK e is defined by minimal energy costs, 100 kilometers for one euro, one third of the weight of a modern small car, and a maximum speed of 120 km/h.
