Applying piano lacquer, a black lacquer finish, is an extremely demanding paint job. This paintwork requires six layers with each layer being sanded separately. The elaborate paintwork provides an extraordinary brilliant deep black finish and a very smooth surface. The exterior is rounded off with a carbon Sport – Bodykit. In a word, an elegant suit made to measure for our exclusive MELKUS RS2000 sports car.
The interior also features a black finish. Black full-grain leather furnishing and an Alcantara interior roof lining as well as numerous piano lacquer and carbon applications are a perfect match to the elegant exterior with the exquisite embroidery alluding to the “Black Edition”.
The “Black Edition” also features more standard equipment. This includes, along with a Carbon – Bodykit, a high-quality infotainment system with a navigation function and a high-performance braking system as well as an improvement in performance. As with all other MELKUS vehicles, the RS2000 “Black Edition” can also be customized further.
Powered by a two-litre turbo-engine with a 6-speed gearbox and 325 HP (239 kW), the MELKUS RS2000 “Black Edition” accelerates from 0 to 100 km/h in 4.5 seconds. The car’s top speed equals 270km/h.
